Yes, The Man in a Van operates round-the-clock, 24/7, including evenings and weekends.
Is it only Southampton you cover?
Southampton is our main base of operation but we also work within Hampshire and the south coast, including Bournemouth and Portsmouth.
What are your prices?
Our prices start from £30, which covers van hire and includes one of our professional drivers.
Can you store my items?
We provide secure storage at competitive rates through our official storage partner. Each unit is alarmed, while the premises are monitored by CCTV and offer 24-hour access.
Can you move heavy or awkward items?
Yes, each of our drivers is capable of moving large or heavy objects safely and we offer a Luton box van for larger jobs.
How many men will I need?
This is something we’ll assess when you contact us for a quote.
Do you need help with the loading?
No, we’ll take care of all the heavy lifting and responsibility for loading onto our vans.
Will you carry my items into each room?
Absolutely. You just tell us where everything needs to go and we’ll put it in its rightful place.
Can I travel in the van with you?
Yes, providing we’ve agreed it in advance you can travel in our vans. We have the capacity to carry two passengers in addition to our driver. Please notify us at the time of booking if you would like to get in the van with us.
